L'affiche de ski naît dans les Alpes françaises et suisses, années 1920-30 : Chamonix, Davos, Zermatt, Megève. Roger Broders signe pour le PLM la série la plus connue (un skieur stylisé en aplat, montagne en fond, slogan minimaliste, publiée entre 1922 et 1932). Plus tard, Saint-Moritz, Vail dans le Colorado, Aspen ont continué la tradition.
Le ski reste, parmi les sports, celui qui a le mieux conservé son langage graphique d'origine. Notre sélection : stations classiques, affiches Art Déco repérées dans les archives, plus quelques posters modernes qui jouent dans la même veine.
