The eye lands first on the player's silhouette, jersey 44 framed by diagonal stripes in cobalt blue, terracotta and ochre yellow.
The Art Déco style, born in the 1920s and 1930s, favoured geometric forms, bold colours and assertive typography; these features strongly influenced sports posters by stylising silhouettes and numbers. That graphic language inspires the composition and colour planes of this image. The poster is signed by Cédric des Lauriers. The limited palette highlights the contrast between deep cobalt and warm terracotta.
Printed on fine art paper 275 g/m², matte museum-quality finish, FSC-certified. Available in multiple sizes with optional wood frame (oak, black or white). EU delivery.

The matte surface reveals colour depth and tonal nuance without glare, giving a faithful reading of each work, from deep blacks to the most delicate shades.

An open-edition reproduction is an art print produced without a number or a fixed quantity, which keeps it affordable. It is not a hand-painted original nor a limited edition. We faithfully reproduce public-domain or rights-cleared works, with careful attention to archival, long-lasting print quality.
