This Art Deco tennis poster captures a player in a dynamic backhand stroke on a grass court, bathed in a sweeping spotlight beam. In the background, the silhouettes of Big Ben and Westminster dissolve into London fog, saturating the scene in Wimbledon's signature green and purple palette. The WIMBLEDON title in monumental Art Deco lettering anchors this image in Grand Slam history.
This Art Deco tennis poster pays homage to The Championships, Wimbledon, the world's most celebrated grass court tournament, held since 1877 in south-west London. The spotlight beam and the misty atmosphere evoke the unmistakeable ambiance of the All England Club in summer.
