Tour de France, Paris–Roubaix, Giro d’Italia: three races, three aesthetics. The Tour has had official posters since 1903, with a special series for its centenary in 2003. The Giro’s signature pink jersey takes its color from the sports pages of La Gazzetta dello Sport, which created the race. Paris–Roubaix is more brutalist, with dirt roads and cobblestones.
The selection brings together legendary finishes and a few Art Deco images of riders climbing in the 1930s, with Louison Bobet, Fausto Coppi and Gino Bartali in the background. The elongated vertical format emphasizes the athletic movement.
